League Rules
Playoffs Rules
- First and foremost; we are here to have fun and enjoy the sport we love.
- We use the new ITTF scoring system of 11 point to win a set. Best 3 of 5 sets wins the match, changing ends after each set
- Service:
- Each player serves 2 times before it is the opponent’s turn to serve 2 times.
- At 10-10 it is Deuce. You get one serve each and must win by two clear points.
- The serve must start with the ball in an open palm. The ball must be thrown vertically, at least 16 cm or 6 inches and must be above and behind the table throughout the serve.
League Rules
- Bring your own paddles, towels and refreshments (No alcohol is permitted at our facility)
- Failing to show up to your scheduled match without reasonable notice is an automatic loss by 11:0 in 3 sets.
- If you have a conflict in your upcoming scheduled matches, a notice must be provided at least 7 days prior to your match-day to make arrangements of rescheduling.
- We abide by gentlemen’s etiquette in keeping scores. Both players keep score and communicate the current score to each other throughout the entire match. Any disagreements are to be resolved by re-serving the point.
- Score for each set is provided to organizers prior to start of next set.
- Winner of each match will receive 3 points towards the rankings in the standings. Loser in a tie breaker set will receive 1 point towards standing (2:3 loss only).
- Winner of Division 1 league will have their name engraved on the traveling trophy and will receive registration to the following session at no cost. Top two players of Division 2 will have an opportunity to advance into Division 1 and replace bottom two players of Division 1 for the following session.
- To respect and protect our facility please bring a separate pair of non-smear shoes to avoid marking the floors.

- Double-elimination brackets system will be used.
- Service:
- Each player serves 2 times before it’s the opponent’s turn to serve 2 times.
- At 10-10 it is Deuce. You get one serve each and must win by two clear points.
- The serve must start with the ball in an open palm. The ball must be thrown vertically, at least 16 cm or 6 inches and must be above and behind the table throughout the serve.
